Restoration of the Proclamation Palace in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia
The budget for the project exceeded 10 million euros.
The building has a rectangular floor plan that is structured around two courtyards and consists of two colonial buildings: the Governor’s House and the prison, along with an adjacent residence that was later integrated into the complex. It preserves the layout of the old constructions and remnants of architectural elements from the 17th and 18th centuries, with significant modifications made to the building in the first half of the 20th century and some more recent ones.
